Control systems

Milltech has been developing smart control systems for more than 20 years, and we have been an important part of the development towards the increasingly automated sawmill. In our control systems, high quality in the sawmill process is ensured through knowledge from 100,000s of measurements and parameters in order to precisely optimize all steps of the process. Smart automation combined with the operator's experience is used to optimize the sawmill's entire production.

For maximum flexibility and easier integration, we build our own control cabinets in our facility in Växjö.

Throughout the years, we have used Schneider control systems in our deliveries. Our contactor switchgear is also built with components from Schneider. In 2020, we will supplement our control systems with another brand, Beckhoff. This gives us access to the EtherCat bus, which increases the speed of signal flow.
