About Milltech

Milltech was founded in 2002, as a spin-off to Pronyx Wood, and has since developed smart and integrated control systems for sawmills around the world. We have been an important part of the development towards the increasingly automated sawmill.
3D measurement, 3D optimization and control systems are just some of our products that we provide - smart automation to optimize the entire sawmill's production.

We are located in Växjö in newly renovated and efficient premises and where offices, assembly workshop and warehouse coexist under one roof. For maximum flexibility and versatility, we have the policy that our employees work with all aspects of production - from systemization via assembly, programming to commissioning for customers around the world.

Milltech is part of the ARAT Group, a unit within Storskogen based in Stockholm. Milltech, together with other companies in the group, can offer a complete product range, from timber sorting to ready-to-deliver timber packages. Sawmill companies within ARAT Group in addition to Milltech are also AriVislanda, Renholmen, Almab, Höga Kusten Teknikresurs, Loginor and Hedlunds. 

Milltech and AriVislanda become one

In 2024, Milltech merged with AriVislanda. The companies have collaborated for a long time and see great opportunities to be able to deliver complete solutions to sawmills worldwide and create an even stronger offer, and take the next step in the market. 

The company name will be AriVislanda, but Milltech will remain as a brand for our automation solutions. Even after the merger, we will support and upgrade solutions for those who bought systems from Milltech before.

Ther merger was registrated at the Swedish Companies Registration Office 4h of November, 2024.
